Simoné Lewis: Elephant Class Teacher
Simoné is a passionate and dedicated educator who has been part of the teaching profession for over 10 years. For the past 5 years, she has focused on inclusive education, where she has developed a deep appreciation for supporting children of all abilities and creating a space where every learner feels valued and understood.
She has always had a natural love for working with children and is committed to providing a nurturing environment where young minds can explore, discover, and grow with confidence. Simoné believes strongly in the power of movement-based and hands-on learning, and she strives to make each day in her classroom engaging, meaningful, and filled with opportunities for curiosity and creativity.
Following the ethos of Rose Cottage, she is dedicated to fostering a love for learning while supporting social, emotional, and cognitive development. Her approach is centred on meeting each child where they are, celebrating their strengths, and guiding them gently toward new milestones.
Outside the classroom, Simoné enjoys being outdoors, appreciating sunrises and sunsets, practicing yoga, and finding beauty in the small moments, especially a full moon.
Simoné brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education to the Rose Cottage team, and she is devoted to making each child’s learning journey a joyful and memorable one.
