Our Testimonials
What Parents Say
Both our girls went to Rose Cottage and we couldn’t have asked for a better start for them. It’s such a loving and caring environment. We especially love the focus on emotional growth and relationships for school readiness and not just the academics, although that was outstanding too.

Rose Cottage preschool highlights the fun experiential way children learn through play. Both my son and daughter attended this preschool and enjoyed every moment of the day. The best foundation to future learning!

Rose Cottage Pre-school has been a fantastic choice for our family. Our daughter has thrived in their care, from the Giraffe class to the Hippo class. Every teacher she interacts with has been a positive influence, and the staff and extra murals are exceptional. Jesse loves school, and we're excited for our second child to attend in the future!

Our time at Rose Cottage has been an amazing experience.
Alisha has gained so much confidence in her learning abilities. We have Only great things to say about our experience.
The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is second to none and each child is treated with care. And it is through Rose Cottage that Alisha's love for art has surfaced.
I undoubtedly would not hesitate to recommend Rose Cottage to anyone!

The teachers at Rose Cottage are passionate about the holistic development of the individual child, are knowledgeable on which supports the children need and are able to recommend good resources. There's constant communication with parents, as well as total respect for the family's culture. We'll miss you so much as we graduate from Grade R!

We started our school journey with Rose Cottage 4 years ago and it has now sadly come to an end with our youngest going off to big school next year. The school provides a nurturing environment where your child has the freedom to grow and develop in a safe and healthy environment. The biggest asset to this school are it's teachers, who are simply amazing. They have lovingly taught, challenged and motivated our children to ensure that they reach their full potential. Our children have loved every moment of their Rose Cottage journey - from the movies nights to the fun classroom games to the epic music/dance offs just to name a few fun activities!! We could not recommend this school enough!
Based on the National Curriculum, our Model of Learning uses children’s specific developmental needs as a starting point and differentiates them appropriately to ensure the inclusion of:
•
Boys and girls
Children learning English as a second language
Children from minority ethnic groups
Children who are gifted and talented
Children with sensory processing difficulties
Children with specific barriers to learning
Children will be individually assessed (developmentally and academically) to identify any specific learning needs. Progress in all developmental and learning areas will be closely monitored and will be reviewed quarterly. Individual education plans (IEPs) will be drawn up where necessary to target and support specific learning areas. These will be drawn up in collaboration with parents, teachers and consulting therapists. IEPs will have an additional monthly charge.
By keeping the teacher / child ratio low, Rose Cottage is committed to ensuring individual attention and a nurturing learning environment. A maximum ratio of 1:16 will be maintained in all classes. Additional class assistants are available to provide classroom support.
